As this community meets the challenges of life, it is Mi Casa&#8217;s mission to provide the strength needed from the programs and services available through Mi Casa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Many in our community have already done the hardest thing &#8211; moving to a new country with a different language and system and all the struggles that brings.&nbsp;We believe in what the poet and writer Sabine Ulibarri wrote, &#8220;if you have no relationship with your family or your people, when you&nbsp;laugh you laugh alone, when you cry, you cry alone&#8230;you are alone in the world.&#8221; We are here to help our community so that we work through the setbacks but also share in the successes together &#8212; that no one be alone.<\/p>\n<p>As a CLINIC attorney once said, &#8220;I work in this field because I have been blessed with opportunities and advantages that others have not, because I know I cannot forget the sacrifices that have been made on my behalf, and I have a duty to work to ensure that others get the same opportunities.&#8221;
